Subject: Cat D training and test.
To all at Kent Metro. A big thank you for getting me
through my recent upgrade from automatic to manual Cat D PCV.
The input and training Paul provided was second to none and
I was fortunate enough to pass first time. Thank you all once
again.
Regards.

Compliments on a good training service
Really happy with the training I have received
from KML for my class 2 (cat C). I paid for mine privately
as I wanted a career change and the prices are cheap for the
quality of training you receive. Instructors are good and
know how to teach and the atmosphere is friendly and informal
throughout. Also impressed by the standard of the vehicles
used for training, they feel tight and well maintained which
as a learner in a large vehicle does your confidence a lot
of good. I'd recommend Kent Metro to anybody wanting to drive
HGVs and will be going back to them to take my class 1 (C+E)
in due course. Very good outfit!
Best Regards

Thank you Brian for the publication and assistance
As a 74 year-old pensioner, driving for an Agency, since July
2010, I have driven a variety of vehicles all within a weight
of 3.5 tonnes, but due to a need by the agency for drivers
of 7.5 tonnes, something that I had no experience of (though
my licence permits me to drive up to that weight) I was asked
wether I would undertake driving this weight. For my own peace
of mind and reassurance I felt the need to undertake a refresher
course. I knew of Kent Metro Ltd, through having delivered
on some occasions near them, so I called in to their office
on the Isle of Grain, where I was informed that it was possible
to do a days refresher course, and that it was possible to
do that within a matter of days, the date was booked and on
Thursday, 10th October I duly reported at the offices of Kent
Metro, I met up with a friendly bunch of trainees and Instructors,
was made to feel welcome and duly started my days course.
Richard was my instructor and from the start he made sure
I was conversant with start up checks, Digi card and tacho
requirements, tail lift operation etc. Then it was out onto
the road. Sadly, as I'm sure others have found out, bad habits
and a complacent approach soon showed themselves, but very
pleasantly they were pointed out, corrected and changed, and
as the day progressed, my confidence and driving improved,
I learned much, as everything was explained, and dangers of
sloppy driving pointed out. Kent Metro in my opinion is a
very profesional outfit, which I would heartily recommend
for all driver training requirements, I leave them with a
renewed confidence.

Subject: HGV 1 License
Just wanted to say a very big thank you and
your team for the help and support in getting me through the
HGV1 test recently. The professionalism and courtesy shown
was second to none and I appreciated all the time and experience
that they were able to give me.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kent Metro for anyone wishing
to do this training and, in fact, have already done so.
With kindest regards
Les Martin

| Hi,
This
email is to thank you all at Kent Metro for facilitating my
class 1 LGV pass last week, first time. I particularly wish
to thank Steve for instructing me and providing me with over
30 years of experience. He has a way of communicating it to
you straight and wont let it go until its right. This type
of tuition is what enabled me to produce the goods on the
day, it became so deeply ingrained in me that I only had to
follow his clear instructions.
There
was one particular surprise on the the actual test and if
he hadn't have mentioned this too me in advance and the fact
that it could happen, I would not have known the best way
to handle it. As it turned out, I was prepared for anything
and a potential problem was resolved with confidence and the
knowledge provided too me by Steve.
I have
passed both my LGV class 2 & 1 tests with Kent Metro -
first time - over a three year period. The statistics and
pass rate tell the story. This means that the high standard
of tuition, combined with vastly experienced instructors,
that Kent Metro continues to lead the way in providing a first
class service to learners. Highly Recommended.
Thanks
again
Steve

“I
thought I would drop you an email to thank you all for your
help and assistance last week in enabling me to pass my HGV
class 1 test at the first attempt.
The whole experience was nothing but positive and I was impressed
with the ease at which the training and test were arranged and
the instructors ability to alleviate candidates concerns, when
first starting out.
I will certainly be recommending your services to friends or
colleagues should they require any training and could you please
pass my thanks onto Neil, (my instructor) who was absolutely
brilliant in calming me down on Friday prior to the test and
not tolerating my misapprehensions!!
I wish you all the best for the future.”
Regards
