Kent Metro Ltd · About Us
Kent Metro Ltd began trading in 1963 when Bill Wilford formed the Driver Training School known then as Metro S.O.M.
In 1977 he decided to move the company to Kent. Because of our new location we decided to change our name to suit, we then traded as Kent Metro.
We became a limited company in 1988 and since then have traded as Kent Metro Ltd.
During this time, our fleet of vehicles continued to grow boasting a large variety of vehicles from 5 vintage buses used daily for training and a number of award winning show trucks regularly seen at truck shows across the country which were also used for Driver Training.
In 1997 we moved our ever growing operation to Kingsnorth Industrial Estate Hoo, near Rochester in Kent.
This is a purpose built training centre to allow us to offer a one stop training facility for the many different training courses we offer.
The facilities include our offices with a large classroom for up to 20 candidates rest room and Theory Training room, a full size reversing area and warehouse to conduct our Forklift Training and lorry mounted crane courses.
For more information on the training courses we offer, please feel free to give us a call.
