DRIVERS CPC QUALIFICATION
Drivers of LGV and PCV vehicles now require a Drivers CPC qualification card to enable them to drive professionally. There are some exemptions that can be found on www.gov.uk but if driving is the main part of your job you will require a CPC. Kent Metro Ltd are a JAUPT Approved Training Centre.

Module 4 Off Road Demonstration Test
Completing these tests will give you a Driver CPC card which is valid for 5 years and you will then come under the periodic CPC which means you will have to complete 35 hours of periodic training before the expiry date to keep your card valid.
HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR CPC IF YOU ALREADY HOLD A CARD OR IT HAS EXPIRED.
You must complete 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to renew your card before the expiry date.
This can be completed at a registered centre and would consist of a 7 hour course taken 5 times before the expiry date on your CPC card.

Initial CPC or Periodic CPC

FORK LIFT TRUCK COUNTER BALANCE & REACH TRUCK
To operate a forklift truck you will need to take a full training course on the category of fork lift truck you wish to use.
The length and type of course will depend on past experience and workplace.

ADR Driver Training
We are approved by the Department of Transport (DfT) for the training of drivers of vehicles carrying hazardous goods.
You will need to take a test to tow a trailer if you passed your car test after January 1997. You do not need to apply for a provisional entitlement or take any theory test’s.
TACHOGRAPH & DRIVERS HOURS
Digital tachographs allow data to be recorded and stored to both the driver’s card and the vehicle unit (VU).
